Passion for your Job

Are you passionate about your job?
Do you enjoy what you are doing now?
Do you wake up every morning, feeling excited to go to work?
Do you take every challenge that comes at work with utmost optimism and enthusiasm?
Do you go home satisfied with what you have done for the day and look forward for tomorrow?

Or is it the other way around...

What should a person do if he says no to all the above questions?

Symptoms of an early mid-life crisis???

I hope not....

mid-life crisis notion is a wrong concept popularized by glamor seeking psychologists of the past. unfortunately, the concept sticks.

perhaps, if you have some time, read Mihaly Csikszenthihalyi's work Finding Flow.

there is a case mentioned in that book about a fulfilled worker in a demented factory setting.

i understand your position as i was also and still is experiencing the perceived crisis due to circumstances.

But, continue reading, and that book, an old best selling book, might inspire one.

good luck.
