Monthly Ritual

Every month, I have to attend meetings at the Kertih office.

There are 3 ways of getting there by flight, KLIA- Kuantan or KLIA-KT or T3 Subang-Kertih.

I prefer the last one as it saves a lot of time. I can go to Kertih and get back home in KL within the same day... Cool isn't it!!

But the trick is, I have to fly on a small plane.

No pretty stewardesses, no drinks, no food, no toilets.

Just 45 minutes of pure flying...

It can be very "adventureous" on rainy days. The plane also easily gets excited when we fly thru clouds.

I just imagine that I'm riding a roller coaster...

Or I just pretend to sleep throughout the journey... zzzzzzzzz

Ihsan

My dearest Ihsan turned 2 years old recently...

Ihsan, as my father aptly named him after his birth.

I simply added Muhammad in honour of our great Prophet s.a.w.

A simple name with a profound meaning...

Here's an interesting entry I found on Wikipedia:

Ihsan
(or Ehsan or Ahsan) is an Arabic term meaning "perfection" or "excellence." In Islam, Ihsan is the Muslim responsibility to obtain perfection, or excellence, in worship, such that Muslims try to worship God (Arabic Allah) as if they see Him, and although they cannot see Him, they undoubtedly believe he is constantly watching over them. That definition comes from the hadith (known as the Hadith of Gabriel) in which Muhammad states, "[Ihsan is] to worship God as though you see Him, and if you cannot see Him, then indeed He sees you." (Al-Bukhari and Al-Muslim).

Ihsan is one of the Three Principles of the Islamic faith (Islam, Iman and Ihsan) and means "to do beautiful things". In contrast to the emphases of islam (what one should do) and iman(why one should do), the concept of ihsan is primarily associated with intention. One who "does what is beautiful" is labelled muhsin. It is generally held that a person can only achieve true ihsan with the help and guidance of Allah, who governs all things. Ibadah (worship) is one embodiment of ihsan.

Ihsan is excellence in worship, work, and in social interactions. For example, ihsan includes sincerity during Muslim prayers and being grateful to parents, family, and God.

I pray that he will continue to bring more happiness into our little family and remind us of our duties to become a Muhsin...

Sorry...

Sorry dear visitors for not updating my blog...

Been busy.... with family, with work, with personal commitments and also with Facebook...

Like I said earlier, this Facebook stuff is really addictive...

Almost felt like closing down this blog for the lack of activity...

But I suppose I can't "let go" for now...

As to the "missing photos", well some of it are on my Facebook photo album. Feel free to browse.

Gotta be a Facebook member first though...

Another reason why I find it difficult to upload photos onto this blog is due to the fact that I just find it a hassle having to wait several minutes for a picture to be loaded onto this blog.

Maybe I just have to be patient a lil' bit...
